While we are only in one corner of the Left Bank, A+B Kasha is happy to have called Paris’ Rive Gauche home for about a decade. We agree that this part of Paris holds a particular charm and we can say that it is not only a great place to visit but also a wonderful place to live.
Not only do our apartments have great views (see yesterday’s post) but they are situated in great buildings with some wonderful staircases. Here is a selection of some of our favorite steps.
While our renovations might be the work we are the most proud of, we also believe much of the value of our apartments comes from their locations. We are careful about picking not just nice properties, but ones in attractive locations and often with great views. Here are some of the views our clients get to enjoy from their very own windows or balconies.
We enjoyed lunch – outside – to welcome in one of the warmer days this spring.
And of course the flowers are in bloom in the courtyard of one of our properties. That view is not too shabby…
In order to best use the space we had, we moved the salle de bains from an attached floor and replaced it with a bedroom, moving the salle de bains closer to the living spaces in the rest of the apartment. We do as much as possible to make our apartments both livable and comfortable. If that means a drastic change to a layout, we do so for maximum comfort.
We might be a little bit late to Vahram Muratyan, but we are loving his various graphics comparing Paris and New York. His bold and creative images capture aspects of life in both places and we cant get enough of them. For more see his blog or look to buy some prints online.
We haven’t been blogging about this renovation for a while, but here are some progress pictures of this studio on rue Servandoni. We cannot wait to see the final result!
Take a look at this apartment we just finished for a client. We re-designed the whole layout, changed all the windows, created a new kitchen and two bathrooms, and put in a “new” old hardwood floor.
